We will charge for a transfer whether it is successful or not. Here's why:
Unreadable disks are known to take much more time and work than disks that are instantaneously readable. As well, some of these deteriorating disks can damage our floppy disk drives. We will contact you if we see damaged disks. Then it will be up to you whether we continue or not, or if you would like us to just return the disks without any further charge.
Do you have documents on a ZIP disk, but have no ZIP drive? Canada Home Movies can convert those old ZIP disks to CD-ROM or upload the files directly for you to save them on your hard drive or USB memory stick. The service costs $25 per Disk
